Market Tycoon starts you with one shelf, one till and a queue of impatient shoppers. Restock, price, hire, expand — then discover that hiring badly is more expensive than not hiring at all.

It is an idle game with real decisions: pricing affects footfall, footfall affects queue length, and queue length is what actually kills a store. Progress continues while the tab is closed, and prestige runs unlock permanent supply-chain perks.

How to play

1. 1Restock the highest-margin shelf first; empty shelves lose customers faster than high prices do.
2. 2Hire a cashier as soon as your queue regularly exceeds four shoppers.
3. 3Raise prices gradually and watch footfall — a five percent drop in visitors is usually worth a ten percent margin gain.
4. 4Prestige once expansion costs outpace hourly income; the supply perks compound quickly.
