About Shell Troopers

Shell Troopers is a top-down arena shooter with squads of armoured turtles, destructible cover and waves that escalate faster than your reload speed. Every third wave introduces a mutation — armoured, splitting or shielded enemies — that forces a change of weapon.

Local co-op lets a second player join on the same keyboard, which makes it a decent pick for a shared screen. Runs are self-contained, so nothing carries over between sessions except your best wave count.

How to play

1. 1Keep moving. Standing still in the open is the fastest way to end a run.
2. 2Break cover deliberately — it absorbs shots but shatters after sustained fire.
3. 3Swap weapons for the mutation on screen: spread for swarms, rifle for armour.
4. 4Bank shield pickups for wave milestones rather than using them immediately.
